What does beeswax do for your skin?

Beeswax is a fantastic ingredient for moisturizer, face lotion, hand lotion, and beauty products. It adds staying powder and can help beauty products stay on longer and can be used instead of pore blocking silicone, acting as an emulsifying agent that allows products to be elastic and buildable. In addition to its emulating properties beeswax simultaneously acts as a natural water repellent while locking in your skins moisture with antiseptic properties that help protect against microorganisms. It does this while providing your skin with Vitamin A which helps maintain collagen and leads to quicker skin regeneration. In addition to all these hydrating and healing properties it leaves a protective layer on your skin without clogging pores. All these benefits are backed by a study conducted in 2020.

Why do we add coconut oil to our skincare?

One study shows that coconut oil can significantly boost skin hydration while another study showed a 68% decrease in eczema severity. Coconut oil also can increase the number of antioxidants and level of collagen. It also has antimicrobial properties, it contains lauric acid which is the most effective fatty acid at preventing bacterial growth. With added power from capric acid that has anti-fungal properties. Making it an excellent ingredient for increase moisturizing properties, in addition coconut oil acts as a great base helping mix with the beeswax so it can be easily applied to the skin.

Why do we add Argon oil to our skincare?

People in various cultures have long used argon oil to protect their skin from the sun, this practice was found to be backed up with scientific evidence as a 2013 study. The most known application for argon oil is its use as a moisturizer which makes it perfect for our beeswax lotion and skincare products. Its use as a fantastic moisturizer is largely due to the abundance of Vitamin E, it’s many skin benefits and vital role in protecting it have been examined and laid out in a 2014 study. Vitamin E is the reason that argon oil prevents skin damage by sunlight and UV light. Additionally, Vitamin E protects the skin from losing moisture, being damaged, and softens the skin.

Use for infections, healing wounds, and skin conditions

Since argon oil has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties it can help alleviate the symptoms of minor skin conditions such as rosacea. These same antioxidants can help improve wounds heal. While the anti-inflammatory properties in combination with the benefits of Vitamin E can sooth itchy, irritated, or dry skin and can help prevent acne.

Why do we add Mango Butter?

Mango Butter is another great base that helps with skincare application, it’s also packed with stearic acid, Vitamin C, Vitamin A, and more Vitamin E! The stearic acid within mango butter makes it an excellent cleanser and can help unclog pours. While Vitamin A works to protect your skin from UV light, stimulate cell production and collagen production which your body needs to heal wounds. With Vitamin C to further promote collagen, soothe skin from sun damage, and significantly boost skin moisture.
